FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
The Dictators who have been elected to run our city for their city, commonly known as members of the progressive party, have advised all the elected common council members to not raise any questions on the council floor.
Questions are heard only during the leadership meetings and by the way one republican Alderman has been advised that he is not welcomed at future leadership meetings because he asks too many questions.
The Hall of flags within the council chambers, representing the cultural makeup of our city residents, inadvertently omitted one flag that does represent a large segment of New Britain's progressive representation and population "A Hammer and Sickle."
I trust the affected members will voice their objections by refusing to maintain lockjaws on the common council floor since they were elected to represent their constituency and not that of the "so-called dictators."
This needs to be elevated by the Republicans into mainstream press via a release.
ReplyDeletePeter Kochel, another progressive had the same ruling on the BOE. Members had to stick to the Agenda and were not allowed to ask questions outside of the Agenda which he and Kurtz prepared. It seems that the BOE was supposde to protect Kurtz rather than represent the people who voted them into office.
ReplyDeleteHere’s just a short list of what we Tax Paying Folks are up against:
ReplyDeleteThe public school education monopoly and its teacher unions that fight school choice and competition that sentences the poor, mostly blacks, to “failure factory” schools.
The crushing higher education-university research partnership propaganda machine that has raised the cost of a university education 10 fold in 30 years while simultaneously downgrading its quality and value.
A $15 trillion federal debt and a per capita debt ratio worse than Greece’s.
A string of unbalanced federal budgets, including the current $1.3 trillion fiscal year deficit
A Federal Reserve that has interfered with the economy for nearly 100 years only to severely degrade the value of the U.S. dollar.
The restricting of our national resources to economic development, impoverishing us, and making us dependent on foreign sources of commodities, especially oil.
The planned federal takeover of the best health care system in the world.
An adventurous foreign policy that includes the folly of nation-building rather than supporting U.S. allies and vital national interests.
A media that instead of doing its job and being a watchdog of government has become a lapdog of government.
A river of filth from Hollywood.
This has Sherwood written all over it. School Board President Sharon Saavadera needs to stop protecting him or step down.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Hitler silence his opposition too?
ReplyDeleteVote for a communist and expect to live under oppression in a dictatorship!
Sherwood bullied Saavedra amd treatened her political carreer.
ReplyDeleteThe worse part is that Sharon is letting him do it. I thought she had more B---s than that to let this rodent rule her life.
Maybe she's using her silence as political blackmail to keep him at bay. Either way, it's disappointing to watch a good person succumb to this type of gutter politics. She's quickly loosing the trust many.
ReplyDeleteI thought that the new communist flag was a donkey, or should I say a jackass like all the people who belong to the communist party.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for Sharon. She certainly didn't ask to be put in this situation. Politics in NB is like playing the game of Twister, you never know when you put a foot down or hand when you are going to take the great fall.
ReplyDeleteSharon, you do need to come forward with the facts regarding Sherwood's impromtu meeting with you.
Do not worry about your parties opinion of you, they let that be known when they nominated Lopes and threw you under the bus. Goes to show you how politics works.
Sharon the Dems have done NOTHING for you. You are destined for defeat the next time if you are counting on an endorsement.
ReplyDeleteNot commenting will get you nowhere the electort is losing its trust in you. You were once the only trustworthy person in the Democrat party. Now you fall in the catigary of Fran Wolski and Peter Kochol.
The last post is correct in my opinion. It appears that Sharon is turning out to be little more than a rubber stamp for the radical agenda in city hall. What a disappointment.
