Sounds a lot like Connecticut where a communist style dictator can order you to pay dues to a union against your will even when you are self employed working out of your own home and work for no one but yourself. Welcome to the Communist States of America!
By now you’ve heard plenty of talk about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a.k.a. “Obamacare,” that it is like the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This creative bit of dot-connecting began with President Obama and has been perpetuated by countless talk-show hosts and their guests.
By implication, to oppose Obamacare is tantamount to opposing civil rights, which, roughly translated in this country, means being racist. This may not be what Obama intended, but if not, it was an accidental brilliance political statement.
For the past three days, the nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court heard a series of arguments on Obamacare — what promises to be one of the most seminal decisions in the Court’s history. Now that the dust has settled, it appears more than likely that President Obama’s signature health care law is on the verge of being struck down — perhaps even in its entirety.
