  1. I'm not surprised that a couple of BOE members continue to support the Democrat cabal forged by the DTC chair, the Mayor's Communications Director and the "professor" from CCSU who has been nothing more than a joke - a bad one at that - since he first burst on to the New Britain political scene. And yet, the newspapers continue to give the professor print. What a shame!

These people continue to spew their own disdain for anyone not in tune with their liberal/socialist agenda while being determined to turn New Britain city government into their own version of "Animal Farm."

  2. The identical situation exsetted with the appointment of Cooper as did with kurtz Fran Wolski ended up casting the vote to hire Kurtz. Mrs Wolski was harressed by her fellow Democrats calling her a racist. The same old routine they pull when faced with not getting their way.

  3. I thought the reference to "Animal Farm" was good, but I think "One Flew Over the Coo-coo's Nest" is more fitting for a city run by a "spokesman" who is really nothing more than an agitator working for a mayor who clearly has no clue.

  8. I think you missed the point about that last post. It was that those communities actually work and pay taxes and don't sit at home drinking beer and making babies while they wait for their state check to arrive as their reward for never working a day in their lives.

BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE RENT FREE BECAUSE THE STATE OR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PAYS THEIR RENT FOR THEM? WHAT TAXES DO THEY PAY AND WHAT SKIN DO THEY EVEN HAVE IN THE GAME IF THEY DON'T EVEN WORK BECAUSE WE SUPPORT THEM WITH OUR WELFARE PAYMENTS?

  12. At last count more than 50% of Connecticut citizens pay not one thin dime in taxes--ever. They receive all their income, housing and food for free--paid for by the less than 50% of citizens who still work and pay taxes.
