  2. Three fundamental issues have contributed to the current state of the US Healthcare system:

1.- The idea that healthcare is a right...

2.- The ever-increasing socialization of the costs of funding that “right;” and...

3.- The natural human tendency to cheat a big, faceless, bureaucratic system into which they have (or have not) contributed hard-earned money...

...In order to “fix” healthcare, we must start with #1.

  3. Interesting that a news organization in Canada where it is a right and you must wait up to 2 years for permission from a government bureaucrat to decide if you are really entitled to that right before you can get permission to see a doctor (if you don't die first waiting for your permission to go to the doctor and the doctor faces a long prison sentence if he treats you without that permission slip from big brother--so you must die under order of the government) would be opposed to the total destruction of our health care--Canada style.

Currently anyone in Canada with the means to do so crosses the border to the US for their treatments that they must pay cash for even though they are supposedly entitled to totally free health care in their own country.

After the Democrats finish totally destroying what is still the best health care system in the world, where do we go for our treatments?

  4. the best way to fix health care would be to get government out of the way. Government is the biggest problem facing health care. It is the federal government that drives the price of health insurance through the roof by forbidding you from ever crossing a state line to buy your health insurance from another state. The quickest way to bring the price of health insurance down would be to simply repeal every federal law that deals with health insurance and let the free market do what it does best.

The less government interference there is, the better and cheaper everything will be.

Obamacare if it is allowed to take hold will absolutely destroy the quality of care in this country.
