CPOA's Notice fills Council Chamber.

Congratulations to CPOA's President, N. Mercier, for getting many property owners to speak on the proposed resolution after Alderman Carlo Carlozzi demanded that the people be allowed to speak because since the public hearing the document has been changed many times over.

After 18 property owners spoke against this resolution with no one speaking for it.    President Pro tempore Alderman Michael Trueworhty move to have the tabled resolution off the table and his motion failed.

  1. 180 property owners could speak against this nonsense and these Democrats are going to jam it down their throats in an Obamacare fashion.

Until the people wake up and start voting these Democrats out of office, they better start looking for second and third jobs to help them pay all the new taxes and fees that are going to be jammed down their throats to pay for free stuff for people who don't work or pay a dime in taxes.

  2. I can't take credit for filling the chamber alone. Many people helped get the word out through Facebook, email, and phone calls. Special thanks to Erin Stewart for spreading the word, Adrian Baron for informing the Polonia Business Association, the members of the CPOA for calling friends and relatives, and everyone else who helped make the City Democrats sit up and listen.

  3. The City of New Britain is now saddled with on-going STRUCTURAL BUDGET TAX DEFICIT that will result in...

    1.- Raising more taxes for more revenue. ( + $ )

    2.- Manage & Control the City's spending. ( - $ )
