Is that what unions stand for? smashing a poor hot dog vendor's cart and repeatedly calling him the "N" word because he is running his business selling hot dogs to someone they don't happen to like?
There's a reason Detroit went bankrupt while the Southern auto transplants did not. This is not to exonerate incompetent overpaid management that contributed to the fall. But clearly the wage, benefit and work-rule gap between the unionized North and the "right-to-work" South was a major factor.
Union activities sound like racketeering to me. Has no one ever put together the link between unions and organized crime? And look at all the money union groups funnel politicians. Maybe they should save some of that money and use it to pay members benefits and pensions since they are all crying. As a tax payer I am tired of my taxes increasing because people want to spend more. It doesn't work like that in the real world. Money runs out. How about unionized public workers be required to live in the town they work in.
Unions are the ones raping the taxpayers. They are the ones who negotiate the $300K severance packages for clerks leaving with 100 unused vacation and sick days. Anything that a union touches, the price skyrockets.
A perfect example of why Americans are fed up with union scum.

ReplyDeleteWouldn't you be happy to be forced against your will to pay dues to this group?
