In December 2012 Adrean Rodrigues of East Hartford, CT filed a complaint with
the State Elections Enforcement Commission alleging that a website is running
political advertising without specifying who is paying for the ads or which
political action committee is responsible for them.
When asked why he
filed the complaint, Rodriguez said, “I have no further comment, the complaint
speaks for itself.” So, who is Adrean Rodriguez?
Why is someone from East
Hartford so concerned about New Britain politics, and political attacks to
unseat New Britain Mayor Timothy O'Brien?
In connecting the political
dots...we find Goodwin College located in East Hartford and David DeFronzo
employed as a teacher and career service advisor at the college.

Perhaps someone should follow the trail of state and federal money that goes to Goowin College? That might shed some light.
ReplyDeleteWhile your at it, check how much the Larson campaign paid in rent to have his headquarters in one of their buildings?

Manny Sanchez is a Goodwin employee.

I am surprised to hear that the Herald is still being published. You mean somebody actually reads that tripe?
At age 22, Emmanuel "Manny" Sanchez became the youngest member of the city’s Common Council in New Britain when he was unanimously endorsed by the Democratic Town Committee.
ReplyDeleteManny Sanchez sits on the Consolidated Sub-Committee & Planning, Zoning & Housing Sub Committee, while also serving as a liaison to the Board of Education, Youth Services and the Police & Parks & Recreation Commissions. He’s also a board member of the Police Athletic League in New Britain.
Manny Sanchez is also working at Goodwin College as the Employer Relations Coordinator under Career Services.
I guess Mr. Sanchez has come a long way from being appointed to the council and the only qualification that could be cited for his service on the council is that he lives on Washington Street.
ReplyDeleteShould we protest against Manny?
ReplyDeleteSince Florida's Senator Mare Rubio is the GOP's most visible Latino in national politics.
ReplyDeleteThen who is visible Latinos or Puerto Rican in local politics - citizen Adrean Rodriguez / citizen Manny Sanchez ?

That thought is bone chilling frightening for the future of the Puerto Rican community in Greater Hartford if all they have for representation is 2 radical extremists.

So, if Adrean Rodriguez is involved in trying to execute the former Mayor Tim Stewart, and if he got involved due to Manny Sanchez? Oh the webs we weave.

CPOA President Nicholas D. Mercier comments....
ReplyDelete....The original law that was on the books regarding excessive calls clearly outlined what types of calls would be considered for "excessive" calls. Instead of working with the existing laws this administration replaced the law with an unworkable fee structure that even the members of the Common Council, when questioned, could not explain to the public.
While the law does make exclusions for certain types of calls it also fails to clearly identify what types of calls are considered nuisance vs. emergency. Furthermore, when discussing the proposed ordinance, Aldermen were never provided with a breakdown of how many calls certain properties received by classification and they were not informed that many of the "hotspots" would not be subject to fees since they are either city owned properties or the majority of the calls were due to domestic disputes, which is excluded as an emergency call.
Finally, for Sherwood to say that these "ordinances are working" is a massive lie. These ordinances the landlords and property owners of this city are opposed are not even being enforced and are still under challenge in court.
