It is a nice idea to fix the under performing schools, but since the unions stand for incompetence, they will stand in the way of any attempt to hold incompetent teachers accountable. Because of the unions, teachers are guaranteed the same pay whether they do their jobs or not and if they have tenure, they are guaranteed their jobs for the rest of their lives no matter how incompetent they may be. Once again politicians put the unions first over the children because the children don't line to politician's pockets with millions of dollars in campaign donations.

Too bad that if you attended an inferior public school where union teachers care little about anything other than lining their own greedy pockets with their $90,000 plus salaries, free health insurance and over bloated pensions, then you probably can't read this.
