Connecticut Gas Taxes Rises four Cents A Gallon This July.

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
How about all the other products we buy at the stores throughout Conn.? The cost of delivering those products to your neighborhood stores will certainly be added to the prices at the register as you leave those stores. I recommend that you buy your gasoline, clothing, and all other purchases out of state and just maybe come election day you will vote all these Democrats that supported this outrageous tax increase out of office.

  1. You didn't mention the 75 cent tax on every can of paint sold in the state as of July 1 to pay for the can to be recycled similar to the $12.00 recycling tax now added to every mattress sold in Connecticut.

  2. Don't forget to buy your booze and cigarettes while you are in Massachusetts as the taxes are a fraction of Connecticut's.

Also while you are in Mass. if you need any clothing or shoes, buy them there because there is no sales tax in Mass. on individual clothing or shoes that are priced at $175.00 or less!

Then every time you wear those tax free shoes, you can think about how Danny Boy can kiss your butt because you avoided his communist taxes!

  3. Could that possibly be why Sherwood was reportedly going to New Hampshire with the city car at taxpayer expense--to avoid sales taxes? Just wondering???
