  2. Joe Visconti, who's facebook page has photos of him with holster in view, so far has been the only gubernatorial candidate to go on record and state he supports the second amendment and feels the new more restrictive gun legislation passed in CT is unconstitutional as well.

  3. Visconti for Governor - The I Love Connecticut Campaign
    To all my blog followers:

Sorry I've been away on other missions over the past couple of years helping CTGOP candidates and fundraising for the CTGOP, thankless tasks but necessary ones.

As all of you know life is full of decisions and what I've decided to do in the land of steady habits, Connecticut, is make a big one.... to run for Governor. Not a totally difficult task since we currently have a Snowstorm Governor who lets the Public Union Bosses and the CT Lawyers Association run our beloved Connecticut, into bankruptcy I must say. And let's not forget Governor Dannel Malloy inherited this mess, who can forget with all his whining, a mess which he has made messier of course, while he chased many small and large business owners out of state as he publicly ridiculed the good residents of Connecticut one group at a time.

What Dannell 88 (Malloy) doesn't get is that Connecticut is called the land of steady habits not the land of steady taxes.

Now over on the right, not the far right of course, the CTGOP field might get a tad crowded with so many Good Ole Boy Bow Tie insiders lining up for second helpings at the public trough in their vain attempts at becoming King of Connecticut, still I love them all in spite of their shortcomings.

As might be expected I am totally looking forward to steer the debate to the political right, being a National Republican Platform Candidate. But before the CTGOP can win another high seat in Connecticut it is going to have to learn that being Republican is something one should be proud of, not something to duck and explain away.

In order to recruit from the 1 million unaffiliated voter list we first have to learn brand loyalty ourselves, then maybe we can earn back the respect we once had in Connecticut. Point of Order, respect for our brand, respect for our national platform is the Holy Grail to winning back Connecticut.

Know who you are by knowing what you represent and what you stand for, and stand together.

My 2 year plan for the 2014 election in Connecticut will feature getting my economic and campaign message's to the public by harnessing and inserting my Emmy Award Winning talent in television production into the social media, cable TV and radio markets/ platforms which will set the standard for Connecticut political campaigns for years to come. (PROMISE).

Below is what I announced to all my Facebook friends and family this last week. Much, Much More to come in the coming weeks on the matter of me seeking the Republican Nomination for Governor.

It will be a long and winding road to election day 2014 but because I Love Connecticut it will be a road I will be honored to walk and a road I would love to share with you. The reasons to seek this office are many, the reasons not to are but few.

Connecticut is a beautiful state, a wonderful place to call our home and the place where the Fundamental Orders are preserved.

Please consider standing with me to resurrect our economy and thereby our continued way of life, to correct any and all non compliance issues with our State and Federal Constitutions and to re establish the concept of divine guidance for all of our elected leaders rather than special and self interest as their guiding principle.

The Republican Party here in Connecticut is truly in need of remembering who she is and what she stands for, something many have lost along the way. Those that know me understand that I am a National Republican which is much different from a Connecticut Republican. It is my belief that a brand is best served when citizens can easily connect to a brands national core values expressed proudly and confidently by a candidate.

In the coming weeks I will be organizing my team and seeking volunteers to sign on to rebuild our brand as I begin to reach out to those abandoned and forgotten by our Party in Connecticut's inner cities.

    God Bless Connecticut

    Joe Visconti

    I Love Connecticut !!

  4. Imagine that, a candidate running on supporting the Constitution--a subject our local Republicans don't seem to be having difficulty grasping.
