The Historical History of The Red Line Issue Congress and The President Should Recall.

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL

Some of us can remember the first world war when the Germans used Chemicals of Mass Destruction on the Americans and their allies.   Yes the French retaliated by using mustard Gas.
This action both by the Germans and the French created such a turmoil, throughout the world, that an agreement was reach by the league of Nations of the civilized world would never tolerate use of  Mass destruction and called it a heinous war crime .
Now came along our President Obama who drew a redline in the sand, not one but twice, and absolutely did nothing.  Our Secretary of State, John Kerry, had it right But President Obama Ignored his consultation and turn to Congress to decide.
This is a President who has ignored Congress throughout his administration by utilizing his executive orders and now he is using the cowardly excuse of turning to Congress rather than acting, as he should, by attacking Syria and protecting our country's image in that Part of the world,

Also noting Israel no longer can depend on the USA as an allied and has taken action to protect itself from profound threats from its enemies.

Unfortunately. President Obama has painted himself into a red line corner.
Congress should return the President's request with a notice of impeachment for his inactions

The dithering idiot votes "present" again:

BEIRUT/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Syria hailed a "historic American retreat" on Sunday, mockingly accusing President Barack Obama of hesitation and confusion after he delayed a military response to last month's chemical weapons attack near Damascus until after a congressional vote.
