ELECTION DAY IS NOVEMBER 5,
2013
CTPOA asks all New Britain rental property owner to make sure their tenants
are registered to vote in this upcoming election. Further, we encourage everyone
to vote for a Mayor who does not target private property owners and tenants as a
revenue source.
No need to
remind you what cost increases both landlords and tenants will face under Mayor
O'Brien's Landlord Licensing Fee and his insane 911 Hot Spot Fee.
We must keep
housing prices affordable in New Britain and there will be several upcoming
events where you can have your tenants attend and register to vote.
For all New Britain residents and stakeholders, this needs to become an all
out effort to keep housing affordable and every vote counts in any election. It
is also important to tell new voters they don't have to vote for a specific
party, but they should vote for the better candidate.
REMEMBER DEMOCRACY IS NOT
A SPECTATOR SPORT!
