Just want to give Dwight Blint a shout out to say thank you for standing up for the citizens.
It's a shame it takes a joke of an ethics committee to be our only hope of forcing O'Brien to love by one of the rules he himself voted in support of when he was at the Capitol.
How ironic that we don't even hear about that aspect of it, isn't it?
The SEEC also ought to investigate how O'Brien is employing Matt Dabrowski as City Events Coordinator and Francisco Cuin as an aide in his office while they are being paid through an arrangement with HRA. This was a closed door arrangement that nobody in City Hall can answer.
Matt Dabrowski, candidate for alderman on the O'Brien slate, admitted at a meet the candidates forum at Whinestone Tavern that he works for HRA! Yet, he works at city hall ! And Cuin, who knows what he does? He was in a photo in the Herald with O'Brien and Dabrowski this week.
They should also investigated the hiring of two HRA employees at city hall subsequent to O'Brien vacating 5.5 million dollars of tax money owed to the city by HRA.
The Elections commissions should look into this issue as well.
The Lib Dems, with A.C.O.R.N.'s help, paid ineligible voters to cast illegal ballots while the New Britain Republican Party did nothing to stop them.
That's how he ended up as mayor.
The National Republican Leaders should have put A.C.O.R.N out of business, for good, when they had the Chance, but as usual, they failed to follow through out of fear of the inevitable media criticism, doing so would have caused.
Frank: Unless our State Senator can stop it, there may be another member of the O'Brien slate that is investigated by the State Elections Enforcement Commission.

Phil is just on the back burner until this election is over and his philandering can be ignored.
Like terminator said "I'll be back"...... Lol....of course it might be without his wife and kids and maybe even the school girl he was cheating with.....but as long as the O'Brien gravy train is in New Britain, he'll be back......one might say he hadn't actually left since his house is still not sold off......
I think you are correct that Phil was becoming such an embarrassment to the dysfunctional administration that they put him in hiding until after the election, when they no doubt plan to bring him out of hiding in an even bigger position than he had before. J.P.S.

Thank you Mr. Blint!!!!
ReplyDeleteRepublican Leaders need to recognize your efforts and follow suit.
The Democratic Party and it's A.C.O.R.N./WFP affiliates continually break the law and The Republican Party has done little or nothing to stop it.
They should also investigated the hiring of two HRA employees at city hall subsequent to O'Brien vacating 5.5 million dollars of tax money owed to the city by HRA.

He is the most corrupt mayor NB has ever had. And we've had a few.
ReplyDeleteDo you have to put O'Brien's photo up when you run an article Frank? Makes me sick to look at him.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the pic of him in the city journal website? Hysterical!
ReplyDeleteTiny Tim voted for the law he's breaking.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a normal day with Tiny Tim in Office.
how does such a flunkie carpetbagger from Manchester end up as mayor?

Bye bye O'Brien!

Lodging a complaint and then crowing he is under investigation is deceitful.

Isn't that Sherwood's normal Modus Operandi?
