School I and
2 is being sold to Vitus Innovative Development with
an agreement with the city of New Britain which will have 23 apartments conversions
to Handi-cap apartments which will require two weeks to make the improvements requiring
those tenants effected to be placed into hotels while their apartments are being
renovated according to Ms. Amy Boyle. The two hundred twenty six apartments will
all receive new rugs and upgrades to the building’s brick work.
This agreement was worked out with the buyers, the city's Mayor, Erin Stewart, and Kenneth Malinowski an advisor to the Mayor.
But, what is alarming to recognize, is that all 15 Alderpersons failed to mention, when agreeing in accepting the proposed tax package from the new owners that there is a lack of existing parking spaces for the residents and their visitors.

Wait until Erin gets the bill for all that police overtime for the president's visit next week.
ReplyDeleteRemember when the White House told Westport where to shove the bill for their overtime?
Erin's budget is about to have yet another gaping hole in it!
