Alderman Trueworthy’s Resolution

The Alderman is submitting his resolution, in support of President Obama’s minimum wage of $10.10 per hour, at tonight’s council meeting.
This resolution will either create layoffs by New Britain’s small business owners or force the remaining businesses, in New Britain, to move out of state.  Raising the minimum wage means less hiring.

And will discourage any businesses thinking of moving to New Britain that our Mayor is fighting so hard to attract to our city.

Students needing summer work, with the public works department, will not get hired.

Their trying to earn enough money to pay for their semester tuition has been dampened by Trueworthy's Resolution.

  1. The smart business owners would already have left--you know like Walmart--the world's largest employer fled New Britain because of these communists and their radical protests in front of the former Walmart store which remains empty 5 years later. The grass growing through the parking lot at the former Walmart store should forever be a monument to these radical communist Democrats and their monumental stupidity.
