Mayor Erin’s Dilemma.

Since her declaration of a wage freeze, at the start of her new administration, she reportedly has ignored this freeze according to John McNamara, Democratic Town Committee Chairperson, “claiming that she has giving two $10,000 pay raises to two of her aides in her Mayoral office.”

  1. If Mr. McNamara assertions are correct it may place a hardship onto the mayors' office to deliver the layoffs she is considering to make.

  2. This information will not help the mayor to deal with the union representatives with the layoffs she is she is proposing for the city hall employees.

  3. Sounds like business as usual no matter who resides in that office.

  5. I guess the mayor chooses not to lead by example by giving her staff enormous raises during this supposed budget crisis. One more typical politician who leads by telling us don't do as I do, do as I tell you.

  6. Why would anyone believe John McNamara?

  7. Perhaps the mayor's office needs a Holy Bible for it says in Matthew 23:3

"So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach."

    And in Isaiah 11:6

"...and a little child will lead them."

    "Thus saith the Lord"

  8. Who are the two people to whom she gave the raises?

The Mayor's Office has a budget that was approved by the previous Council of 13 Democrats and 2 Republicans. If McNamara wants to deal in the truth, then let's talk about the staff O'Brien had and let's include the hundreds of thousands given to Occhiogrosso, Pudlin, Brigitte Brown , Dabrowski, Cuin, Biscewski Sherwood, etc.

Surprised that Frank Smith did not print what these cronies received !
