why not? Democrats try to rewrite history to deny their 250 years of oppressing blacks which wouldn't have equal rights or the right to vote if it were not for Republicans overcoming vehement opposition by Democrats to granting blacks those rights.
Even their so-called champion of rights JFK voted against allowing blacks to have equal rights when he was a US Senator as did Al Gore Sr. and so many more Democrat icons.
Why do you think that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was so proud to be a Republican, as was his father and grand father?
