THE DEMOCRATIC BUDGET BLAME GAME!

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:

Even though Alderman Carlozzi had voted no for the O’Brien Budget, as noted by this editor’s past editorial, he had just left the Democratic caucus and knew how the Democrats were going to vote.
The most outrageous acts by the Democrats is their attempt in trying to place the blame on Tim Stewart’s administration when in reality Trueworthy and his Democratic gang approved Obrien’s phony budget income stream causing the City’s property owners in their opposing O’Brien’s re-election bid.
But Aldermen Trueworthy, DeFronzo, & Bielinski continue on with their blaming the Stewart administration for O’Brien’s income budget design which they approved with their common council votes.
When the TANS proposal was made to the council Aldermen Trueworthy & DeFronzo were in disbelief that the state would be taking over our city financial operations like happened to Waterbury and Bridgeport.
With all that said the Democrats have given our new Mayor Erin Stewart a $33,000,000 fiscal 2015 budget hole for her to cut jobs and the city managers budget request.
Thanks to the Democrats, past approvals, our city department managers and directors are faced in selecting employees whom they like for the layoff recommendation list, for our Mayor to ponder.

  1. Remember how his budget was going to see a $400,000 increase in marriage license fees when most of that money actually goes to the state anyway?

  2. What happened to the FBI investigation of the O'Brien admiration for given 100 thousand dollars to Malloy's former aid and the Thirty five thousands for two years to a former Legislature?

  3. The three amigos that voted against the TANS proposal made by Mayor Stewart in order to prevent the state's takeover of New Britain's financial affairs.

The Voter should remember who these three are during the next election day.

    Aldermen Trueworthy, DeFronzo, & Patosz

  4. Adam probably thought it had something to do with paying for people getting tans, but from his past voting record I think he would simply vote how he was told to like the good little puppet he has always been.

  6. Charter Change is in order and
the City should elect all Alderman-at-Large It would give us a better selection of aldermanic candidates
The district alderman are all party
    hacks appointed by party leaders,
All of them march to the Democrats
drum beat and this will not change
unless we have a Charter Change
