It says that he has no college education, but did anyone check to see if the job specs said that college training could be substituted by grocery bagging on a year for year basis?
Commissioner DeFronzo a New Britain former Mayor has given a Job to another former mayor of New Britain, Tim O'Brien, a two year employment deal who was also a former state representative for 8 years which would qualify his getting a state retirement at the ten years of service. And all this approve by Gov. Malloy.
He left New Britain in financial ruin and now the taxpayers reward him with a $53,000 made up job that wouldn't surprise me one bit if it turned out to be a no show job too.

Someone should check into this because you might possibly find that he already got retirement credit from the state for his 2 years as mayor just like Mayor DeFronzo did for his 4 years. I remember being told that was the reason for DeFronzo not running for re-election because there was a 5 year cap on such credit from the state retirement system.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't that make you recall to Malloy's appointing judges two years before their forced retirement age of 70 years of age?
ReplyDeletewhat do they care, it's not their money.

I don't suppose this position happens to come with personal use f a state vehicle?
