The Quinnipiac poll showed Dodd trailing former GOP Rep. Rob Simmons by 16 points in a very blue state, and Democrats are growing increasingly nervous about the senator’s chances. With this poll, and the swirl of controversy surrounding Dodd and his ties to Wall Street, he has emerged as the most vulnerable Democratic senator in 2010.
So much for Sherwack and his band of merrymen with their belief that Democrats are unstoppable!
Dodd is not the "underdog", he is the "dirty dog". And polls have it he'll soon be "dog gone" (with a good mortgage) and I'm sure alot of other good perks not mentioned.
On Monday, March 30, 2009 he says: "I didn’t get elected to get re-elected."
Then on April 2, 2009 he comments: "As the old saying goes, the poll that counts is the one in November 2010.” ------------------------------ Senator Dodd will say whatever he thinks that the audience wants to hear. Typical for career politicians.

This guy’s conviction shifts like the wind.
Maybe we should call him the weathervane
Maybe after he loses by a landslide to Rob Simmons, he'll retire to the $1,000,000 "cottage" on his private island in Ireland.
Too bad for him though, Ireland learned that socialism doesm\n't work, so they now boast the lowest business taxes in the world.
Wouldn't that be torturous to Dodd, to have to live in a country with low business taxes?
Will Dodd's campaign slogan be: "pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and start all over again"?
