AP: Beck Rally Signals Election Trouble For Democrats!

Hundreds of thousands (Fox News reported an estimated 2.5 million)turned out in Glenn Beck's latest rally on the mall in Washington DC this past weekend. I'm sure this will be another event Princess Pelosi will describe as "phony" and "astroturf" but wait until these millions of people cast their votes in November. How many do you think will be voting for Democrats?

Glenn beck showed amazing videos of the crowd. Beck said that he spoke to the DC police, and with a crowd exceeding 2 million, there was not one single arrest.

they had the "million man march" and Glenn Beck has the "2 million man march!"

I was there, proudly, with my teenage daughter. Never in my life have I been in such a huge crowd. All were peaceful, kind and happy. Even on the long trip home, at each rest stop, we encountered other travelers, identified not only by their telltale t-shirts, but by the happy, fulfilled (and, albeit tired) expressions on their faces. We would ask one another "Where are you from?", but it was all we needed to say--because we were united then, and are united now. God Bless Glenn for giving us such an opportunity to stand for Honor and our Founders' values!

T.J. you could tell they weren't liberals because they were all happy!

I am proud to have attended.
It was a GREAT day I will always remember.

More than a million people who traveled at their own expense and time for a peaceful message about God in our lives. No fights, no burning police cars, no arrests, no violence. Totally opposite of a leftist rally. Actions speak louder than words, and this was Americans taking a stand. The left is calling everyone who opposes their socialist agenda vicious names because they are scared.

I am a senior citizen, stayed home and watched all three and a half hours on my computer. Frequently, I had to reach for a kleenex to wipe away my tears. I was so very proud of being an American.

It was emotional, spiritual and patriotic. God bless Glenn Beck!

We will take our country back and we will start on November 2. We will vote for honor and integrity.

SURPRISE! NBC news tried to downplay the crowd to a mere 300,000 participants!

Thank God for someone like Glenn Beck. He is a great American!

Disappointing turnout for the right cause.

Official numbers are well under 100,000 and the TV pictures showed there were probably less than that.

God Bless Beck and all the Great Speakers & representatives at the Rally.

God Bless ALL those who attended.

God Bless ALL those who wanted to attend.

And God Bless you who are reading this.

That's funny because NBC was considerably downplaying the numbers by reporting that "only 300,000" were in attendance. There were reports that the lines just to get on a subway were hours long. Beck showed the closeups taken by the AP, and just the crowd on the mall is known by the Park Police to be 200,000. Then you must add in the hundreds of thousands that were lined up around the park in every direction, and then take a close look at the photo because the crowd goes more than a city block in every direction. If you want to see the real video coverage of the over 2 million participants, go to GlennBeck.com and look at the video footage of him showing the closeups and the official counts.

You must be watching a really extremist channel if they had the numbers under 2 million, but you just wait and see what happens on November 2!

It was my first Major rally. I guesstimate at Least 900,000 to 1 million showed. It was truly a good cause and a sense that a storm is coming. A great day hanging with fellow patriotic Americans. I would do it again in a New York minute.

COULD THERE HAVE BEEN ANY PLACE OR TIME THAT WAS MORE APPROPRIATE CONSIDERING THAT MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. WAS A REPUBLICAN AND VERY PROUD TO BE ONE JUST LIKE HIS FATHER AND GRANDFATHER!

I'll take Beck any day before the "spitting Cobra", Chris Matthews.

Consider the NUMBERS of people in this country, who hate Obama's ideology and his PROGRESSIVE agenda. That is what matters....not how many showed up at Beck's rally....who cares! I'm sure millions more would have been there if they could. Consider the viewership of FOX, as well as the listeners of Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, Sarah Palin and other voices of Conservatism. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of US......

I KNEW YOU WERE WAY OUT TO THE LEFT BUT YOU HAVE JUST PROVEN YOURSELF TO BE A SOCIALIST AND POSSIBLY AN ATHEIEST.

Sherwood,

Eat your heart out!!

If it is nothing but white fright like Sherwood is reportedly saying, then why did Rev. Al Sharpten appear with Glenn Beck on the O'Reilly Factor the other night and talk about plans to sponsor next year's rally together?

Anyone who is spreading hate like this about regular Americans who joined together to remember a great Republican like Rev. Martin Luther King Jr, and is accusing them of spreading "white fright" is the racist, not the people who joined together to remember a great Republican like MLK, Jr.

With radical name calling like this report about the calling of white people who were celebrating MLK's speech as the spreading of "white fright," you are witnessing first hand acts of extreme desperation from a bunch of radicals who realize that Democrats are finished in November. Many political pundits (from both sides of the aisle) who have been around for decades, are saying that they have never witnessed a wave like the one that is currently building to reject these radical Democrats and their central planning nanny state mentality.

Democrats are proving by their actions, over and over, that they are the party of tyranny while the Republican Party is the party of freedom--which is an excellent reason for Glenn Beck to have chosen the anniversary of the famous speech by such a great Republican as Dr. King, as a way for patriotic Americans to join together in celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a day of prayer and reflection.

I am lost by the twisted logic behind a statement that white people celebrating the life of Dr. King somehow is spreading "white fright," however, this statement just further demonstrates how Republicans teach a message of tolerance, while the Democratic message appears to be one of intolerance, hatred, and racism.

Perhaps these smug elitist Democrats should have paid attention to the actual words in Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech?
