I thought this story was going to be how the police commission was the victim of the scam perpetrated by the Democrats at the bonding meeting the other night.

I should know that the liberal Herald would never publish such truths against their fellow socialists.

The police were a victim of the Democrats on the council. They can thank the Dems when they are all walking because their cruisers are all broke.

This was not a scam...Someone hacked into Mr. Wanik's Account.
Something similar happened to me about 3 months ago...Fortunately, many people on my e-mail list were wise to what happened, and didn't send money to the address in the e-mail.
I'm sure that Mr. Wanik changed his e-mail password..

Many of us are more concerned with the ongoing "scam" being perpetrated on the people by the Democratic leadership of the council.

The same type of thing happened to me, also...fortunately, many people on my e-mail list contacted me, knowing I wasn't out of the country at the time.
I immediately changed my password, and in the months that followed the scammed/hacked e-mail, there have been no reports of the requested "bailout"
