There was a caller to John Rowland's radio show on one of the days where they were waiting in line for the money and he was bragging that he was a state employee getting paid by the state to stand in that line all day and get his free money!
I suppose after he pocketed the free money, he drove away in a state car using some of his free gas too?
Noooooo, say it ain't so...A governement program that gives away free money...abused by folks that shouldn't recieve the money...I can't believe it...The fact is ALL programs the Government engages in that gives away free stuff or services is abused..The only cure is to ELIMINATE THE PROGRAMS...it's what private insurance is for!
It is only free for the Democrats who don't work or pay a dime in taxes--living free off those of us who are dumb enough to work and pay our taxes (Republicans).
Why stop there.......let's expand it to all of welfare, food stamps, public housing, SSI........if the average taxpayer knew how many billions were stolen from them each year by the fraud in federal programs they would cough up blood................
Come now, it's not fraud- it's redistribution of wealth sanctioned by the communist dictator himself! I pay my taxes so the poor can replace their free food with more free food so they can continue to breed more children to live free off those of us stupid enough to work and pay taxes to support them staying home and breeding.
The State of CT Initial review finds as many as two dozen state employees suspected of Irene Tropical Storm fraud - The administration of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will give state agency heads the names of as many as two dozen state employees who appear to have fraudulently obtained Irene disaster aid and now face possible prosecution and termination.
The inquiry is continuing, but state agency heads will be given the first batch of names of employees who appear to have lied on applications for aid. The agency heads were notified, because the state intends to begin disciplinary actions as soon as fraud is confirmed.
