Parking is free every day after 5:00 p.m., and as far as I know, free all day Saturday, both on street parking and garage parking. Would there be a problem if parking were free all the time? Regardless, the Malls do have more to offer: Many more retailers available for longer daily hours.Perhaps retailers could validate parking for patrons, as they do at the hospital.

You think if parking were free, everyone would immediately stop going to Westfarms Mall and would choose to do all their shopping instead in downtown New Britain?
