Communism has always failed because once everyone is guaranteed the same everything, there is no incentive to work so everyone simply sits around drinking, doing drugs, spitting out babies for the government to support or whatever else they want to do, since they have absolutely no incentive to work or produce anything.
In the end you create a worthless society of drug addicts and alcoholics.
