CVS’s announcement
of stopping the sale of cigarettes at all their outlets has created many
newscasts of this event however, when the same announcement was made by Targets,
some 18 years ago, the same media made no mention of their decision.

The stock analysts are all saying they would run out and buy Walgreens stock because this will drive smokers to take their business across the street to Walgreens not only for the cigarettes, but all the other incidental items they may buy while in the store to buy their cigarettes.
