I received this shocking e-mail message from Alderman Louis Salvio today which is full of his typical rantings and ravings. I believe that for an elected official to send out a message like this to a member of his community is totally outrageous and completely unprofessional for a member of the Court of Common Council. You be the judge:

Your associations with a Herald reporter and a couple of professional agitators on the Council speak volumes about your petty, puerile persiflage, unsubstantiated claims and lies and your abysmal character.
I will mention only One for which you were totally misinformed, namely the so-called – a terrible misnomer - “Council/City Auditor.” Some things you should know THAT ARE NOT LIES:
1. MIKE TRUEWORTHY AND SUZANNE BIELINSKI ARE NOT THE BOSSES OF ANYTHING OR ANYBODY CONCERNING THE NB COMMON COUNCIL. WHATEVER “POWER” THEY ASSUME DERIVES ERRONEOUSLY FROM THEIR 13 VOTE SUPERMAJORITY.
2. DURING A TWO YEAR HIATUS OF MY TENURE ON THE COUNCIL (2003-05) THEY HIRED A PERSON TO SERVE AS “AUDITOR”, OF WHAT I DON’T KNOW BECAUSE THIS PERSON HAD NO OFFICIAL STANDING IN CITY GOVERNMENT, NONE, NADA, ZILCH. UNDERSTOOD? AT THIS TIME THERE WERE 15 DEMOCRATS ON THE COUNCIL.
3. MIKE AND SUZANNE PREPARED, AMATEURISHLY, THE CONTRACT FOR THIS PERSON’S EMPLOYMENT. THIS WOULD BE A “NO BENEFITS”, PART TIME POSITION –4 HRS./DAY. THEN THEY GO AND GIVE TEN DAYS (ACCUMULATED ANY WAY AT ALL), PAID TIME OFF. NO BENEFITS? REMEMBER THIS FRANK! NOBODY WAS DESIGNATED AS TO HOW “SUPERVISION” OF THIS PERSON WOULD BE HANDLED. THE PERSON WOULD BE PAID TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS – YOU CAN LOOK THIS UP YOURSELF , FRANK – OUT OF CITY COFFERS.
4. NOVEMBER 2005, I AM REELECTED TO THE COUNCIL ALONG WITH PETER GOSTIN AND MARK BERNACKI. ALTHOUGH MARK IS THE HIGHEST AT-LARGE VOTE GETTER AND I AM THE HIGHEST VOTE GETTER AMONG DISTRICT CANDIDATES, NEITHER OF US GETS THE NOD FOR MAYOR PRO TEM.
5. OVER THE NEXT 5 MONTHS, I, WITH THE EXPERT HELP OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL’S OFFICE, CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE POSITION OF COUNCIL AUDITOR. THE AUTHOR WOULD NEVER COOPERATE IN GIVING ME ANY INFORMATION REGARDING ANYTHING RELATED TO THE POSITION – I WOULD ALWAYS BE REFERRED TO TRUEWORTHY ALTHOUGH I TOLD THE PERSON THAT NO ALDERPERSON HAD ANY MORE STANDING OR AUTHORITY THAN ANY OTHER. ( SEE STATEMENT #1 ) I WON’T BORE YOU WITH THE TRUTHFUL DETAILS FRANK BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE TRUTH, BUT DURING THOSE FIVE MONTHS AND UNDER THE SUPPOSED SUPERVISION OF MIKE AND SUZANNE – AND THIS WAS ALL DOCUMENTED BY THE CC’s OFFICE – THE AUDITOR BILKED THE CITY OUT OF OVER $4000 IN UNAUTHORIZED PAY. REQUEST THE RECORDING OF THE MEETING, FRANK HEAR IT FOR YOURSELF. OF COURSE YOU WON’T DO THAT BECAUSE YOU’D HAVE TO KNOW WHAT A LOW LIFE YOU ARE. THIS IS THE SAME KIND OF BULL YOU THREW AROUND REGARDING THE CDBG FUNDS FIASCO. YOU BLAMED IT ON ME FRANK AND ALL I DID WAS BLOW THE WHISTLE ON THOSE WHO WOULD CHEAT THE GOVERNM ENT OUT OF FUNDS.

Yes, U.S. Senator Chris Dodd has continued his evasion on Day 125 of the Dodd-gate scandal. After speaking at the Connecticut Housing Coalition in Hartford, Dodd said he would not release any documents pertaining to his sweetheart mortgage deals with Countrywide Financial.
But the public thanks Rick Green of the Hartford Courant for being on the spot to grill Senator Dodd on his reluctance to come clean on his mortgage deal.
Senator Dodd stated that he has answered that mortgage question long ago and It is what it is, political. However the Connecticut media and the Democrats didn’t take that for an answer.
Dodd added that there are no legs to the Dodd-gate story, but that there are issues the people are worried about…losing their homes…getting this economy back on its feet.
Courant Reporter Green reported that a Dodd aide nervously called later to say, as they have said before, the documents will be released in good time. Maybe in 2011, after the next Election.
Senator Dodd is living in a complete parallel universe. He gives speeches about how to fix the greatest financial crisis since the 1930’s Depression even though he was on the point when the cracks in our economy were plain to see.
Since Senator Dodd presents himself as an expert on financial markets when in fact, he was completely ignorant of market forces. And now he wanders into a friendly Hartford audience, and tells the Connecticut locals he is here to make it all go away with our tax money and to forget about that 4.25 percent mortgage marker he has with Angelo Mozillo of Countrywide.

CONNECTICUT CONSTITUTION
The Connecticut Constitution does not specify a burden of proof for impeachment. The constitutional provisions on impeachment state:

SCRANTON,PA – The agent in charge of the Secret Service field office in Scranton, PA said allegations that someone yelled “kill him” when presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s name was mentioned during Sarah Palin rally are unfounded.
The Scranton Times-Tribune rewspaper first reported the alleged incident on its Web site Tuesday and then again in its print edition Wednesday. The first story, written by reporter David Singleton, appeared with allegations that while congressional candidate Chris Hackett was addressing the crowd and mentioned Obama’s name a man in the audience shouted “kill him.“
News organizations including ABC, The Associated Press, The Washington Monthly and MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann reported the claim, with most attributing the allegations to the Times-Tribune newspaper story.
Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment "kill him".
“I was baffled,” he said after reading the report in Wednesday’s Times-Tribune newspaper.
He said the agency conducted an investigation Wednesday, after seeing the story, and could not find one person to corroborate the allegation other than Reporter David Singleton, of Scranton Times-Tribune.
Slavoski said more than 20 non-security agents were interviewed Wednesday, from news media to ordinary citizens in attendance at the rally for the Republican vice presidential candidate held at the Riverfront Sports Complex.
He said that Reporter David Singleton was the only one to report he heard someone yell “kill him.”

Mr. Smith, maybe you should make copies of that intelligent piece of work by the distinguished alderman, and pass them out door to door in his district during his next campaign. You could write a cover letter that simply says, I am a concerned citizen and this is a fine example of the work this alderman has done for you during his past term, and now he is asking you to approve another term. If you think this is professional conduct for an elected official, then by all means vote for him.

At a restaurant in the greater New Britain area our waiter had on a "Obama 08" tie, again we all laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came - we all decided not to tip the server and explained to him that we were exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept.
He stood there in disbelief while we told him that we were going to redistribute his tip to someone who we deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside the restaurant. The server angrily stormed from our sight.
We went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 bill and our doggy bags and told him to thank the server inside as We've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of our rather unscientific redistribution experiment we realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that we gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved the money more.
We figured that the redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in a practical application.
Since Salvio and Bozek have proven to be racist it appears that there will be no Republicans on the city's council after the nest election. So Salvio you need not worry who will be the council's next leader since you will not be there.
This lunatic had the nerve to write such an awful letter.
No wonder Mr. Smith made it public to show how miserable a person he really is and we should have never voted for him.
