the market closed at a lower level than it did the day after the election. they kept referring the "hemorrhaging" on the business channel. the financial world certainly doesn't show any confidence in our new leaders or the market would have gone up.; January 20, 2009 at 9:19 PM

Anonymous said...: I heard that the federal government spent over $150,000,000 on this inauguration and that it was more than four times the cost of any inauguration because of all the special effects that Obama is so fond of. So much for Change!

$150,000,000 could have done a lot of good elsewhere. Perhaps he could have learned from Governor Rell who deferred the celebration after her election to save the taxpayer's the expense.; January 21, 2009 at 5:07 PM
