But Nick Augustino stated I feel like I’m growing with the city, everything goes in waves. New Britain was down and now it’s rising again and I’m going to sit right here and ride the waves.

Mayor Timothy Stewart said he has encouraged the family to stay and grow their business in New Britain.

Anonymous said...: We can only hope that the people who thought that President Obama was going to "Help me pay my mortgage and my utility's" can now see that the promises made were unrealistic at best. Unfortunately President Obama does not have the advantage that President Clinton had. President Clinton oversaw an economy that was expanding and on a solid foundation due to conservative fundamentals put in place by the Reagan administration. After 16 years of liberal economic policy (yes that does include 8 years of the Bush administration) the economy is in very poor shape. Picking Clintonites to run the economy makes very little sense. What the economy needs is simple

1. Small government

2. Personal responsibility

3. Strong and clear national defense.

I would also like to point out the irony of Joe Biden’s campaign proclamation that it is patriotic to pay taxes. Well Mr. Vice President why is President Obama nominating so many non-patriotic cabinet members?; February 4, 2009 at 1:32 PM
