Alderman Catanzaro Showed No Remorse For His Unpaid Taxes.
Alderman Paul Catanzaro never attempted to take a personal minute before the beginning of the council meeting, last night, to express his apology for not paying his taxes on time.
It was reported in Today’s Herald the reason he didn’t make any comment “because he felt the people who elected him knew he would pay the bill.”
This comment coming from an elected official of our city is inexcusable since the people that elected him to represent them are required to pay their taxes in a timely fashion “OR ELSE” so quite frankly the electorate doesn’t understand why an official serving on the council could make such ridicules statement.
Hopefully, the electorate will remember the ethics violations you committed along with this lack of remorse you displayed before the city electorate last night.

Not only Catanzaro ; while two of the four scofflaws made an apology they are, all four still
unabashed by their actions. Excuses, apologies or not these four have the audacity to show up at a council meeting and cast votes that affect the entire city. What an embarrassment they are to the people of New Britain.
Talk about the trash on TV and in the other media; this is real life trash and immorality. All four of them need to resign as Council members - calling themselves members of any kind of "Council" is an oxymoron!
PAY UP YOU DEADBEAT!
Frank Smith should start working om the Board of Educarion and what , if any , taxes they pay.
Also I saw in the recent Adult Education flyer that Leslie Jacobs is teaching a class. Isn't she on te Board of Education? And isn't that kind of unethical and illegal?
Paul Catanzaro shouldn't have to show remorse...he's above us all!!

Remember, Leslie Jacobs was appointed by the Council DEMOCRATS to fill a Republican vacancy on the board. The conflict cited above was known to exist then. Democrats probably appointed her knowing they would have a conflict to report against the Rs. Dems have stooped lower than this in the past. What else should you expect from a party led by McNamara The Lesser?

The property tax conflicts for these four still exist and NB taxpayers are supposed to be understanding. And yet, we are supposed to trust them when they vote on the budget issues concerning New Britain. What a sick travesty!
In the Tunxis Community College flyer, Leslie Jacobs teaches a class in cleaning up the clutter in your homes. Maybe they should have a class on cleaning up the clutter in NB common council Democrats' lives...
It desn't matter what Jacobs. what matters is that ahe a class at New Britain High School in the evening (Adult Education). My question is that I thinkshe is not supposed working for the school district when she was appointed to oversee operations.
HE HAS NEVER ADMITTED TO ERROR WHY WOULD HE BEGIN NOW?
Catanzaro to pay on time! Are you nuts? He is an Alderman and beyond reproach.
