Right now, it's a she said, he said thing. What is needed is is a solid reduction program that affects everyone working for City the same way. Even the Mayor's 5% reduction request of all city departments did not affect everyone equally. Somebody needs to come up with a plan that affects all groups - that requires cooperation of all involved. It happened already just north of NB in the city of West Hartford, every union offered concessions. Why not here? Blaming is not productive, cooperation is.
If you want a job as a school admistrator, get yourself certified and sell your talent(s) to a school system. Then you'll sing a different tune.

Not true. If you are an administrator under Doris Kurtz, you keep your mouth shut, you overlook all of Doris's warts, you ignore the stupid, myopic people elected to the BOE and you pass GO, collecting your $120,000+ salary and perks. Essentially, you sell your soul and despise yourself for not having the guts to speak up to her. You know the consequences.

Why should the administration kiss anyone's butt to save their co-worker's jobs. Lay off the 70 teachers and see if anyone even notices.

Its easy to see why the administrators are all afraid of Doris. They either get fired or quit or take retirement.

Just go down the list of those administrators that are not here.

They are new and black.
