Because of his health - Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy now has passed the universal-health-care baton to Senator Chris Dodd, the No. 2 man on the Senate Health Committee.

By sheer coincidence, Senator Dodd would not have you believe that Mrs. Dodd sits on the boards of four health-care companies.

And for her services, she was paid $500,000 annually in 2007 and 2008, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

Chris Dodd, another career politician who can't seem to understand that the rules do apply to him and his family.

Senator Dodd would have us believe that while he and fellow Democrat Barny Franks were tied up whith that silly committee that they didn't notice the impending collapse of the financial industry. Or that they had no part in it’s demise.

Then there are those sweet mortgage deals the VIP senator seems to get here as well as abroad.

Hey I guess we are all just being paranoid that now he is the baton holder for healthcare reform and his wife just happens to be on a couple of heath care company boards.

I just love career politicians!!

Sounds like just another way Dodd can line his pockets at the expense of the taxpayers, you know, like the $75,000 in savings he got for being a "friend of Angelo" and he still conceals the details of that deal.

So what do you have to hide, Mr. Dodd???
