GREAT JOB GOVERNOR! Keep up the good work listening to the people!
Maybe the Democrats should take a lesson or two from our Governor (one of the most popular Governor's in American history--2nd only to Governor Sara Palin in the highest approval rating in the nation!!!!)
SOUNDS LIKE GOVERNOR RELL IS HERE TO STAY FOR AS LONG AS SHE WANTS. WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE SECOND GOVERNOR TO BE RE-ELECTED 3 TIMES!!
Connecticut's Rell Is Queen Of The Hill At Midterm, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds; Dodd Has Worst Approval Ever
Halfway through her first elected term as Connecticut Governor and one week after a grim budget message, Jodi Rell has a 75 - 19 percent approval rating and tops any likely Democratic challenger by 21 to 40 points, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
The following comparison of Governors shows just how lucky we are here in Connecticut to have Governor Jodi Rell:
Democratic Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick earns good or excellent reviews from 38% of voters, while 20% give his job performance a poor rating.
Republican Alaskan Governor Palin earns good or excellent reviews as governor from 61% of voters in her home state, virtually unchanged from polling last month. Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans and 59% of unaffiliated voters give Palin positive marks.
New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine’s ratings have worsened since last month. Just 25% of New Jersey voters now say he is doing a good or excellent job, while 37% rate his performance as poor.
Governor M. Jodi Rell earns good or excellent marks from 58% of Connecticut voters. Just nine percent (9%) say the governor is doing a poor job. Most voters (53%) think the best tax policy for the current economy is to lower taxes, while 12% think they should be raised and 26% say they should not change.
New York (Paterson-D) Gov. David Paterson (D) may be the most unpopular Governor in the country right now!
Of course this title goes to a Democrat, while the two most popular Governors, (3 if you consider Governor Christ of Florida who is expected to run for the Senate next year) are all Republicans!
Wasn't it Sherwood who was predicting that because his Messiah was elected to the Presidency, Democrats would takeover everything in the country like a giant storm?
If this were even remotely true, then why are the Democratic Governors all the least popular, many of them with single digit approval ratings, while the Republican Governors are all at the top of the approval list (except for Schwarzenegger and much of his disapproval comes from his close association with Obama)? And why is Governor Corzine of New Jersey, another Democrat, trailing his Republican challenger by over 20 points in the polls?
Maybe Mr. Sherwood drank a wee bit too much of the kool-aid on his recent worship trip to the White House?
