Dr. Regina Benjamin may be President Barack Obama's choice for U.S. surgeon general, but an Alabama physicians organization that she once headed is criticizing a key tenet of Obama's proposed health care makeover.

In a Tuesday letter, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, or MASA, joined five other state medical societies in objecting to the so-called "public option" that would create a

government-sponsored health insurance plan.

President Obama, citing a new White House study suggesting that small businesses pay far more per employee for health insurance than big companies, said Saturday the disparity is "unsustainable -- it's unacceptable."

"And it's going to change when I sign health insurance reform into law," the president said in his weekly Internet and radio address---NEVER GONNA HAPPEN! THE PEOPLE ARE MAD AS HELL AND THE DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS KNOW THAT THEIR RE-ELECTION IS DOOMED BECAUSE OF YOUR SOCIALIST AGENDA.

If ObamaCare passes, you can kiss your private health insurance goodbye... maybe your doctor, too... and you can certainly say adios to the best health care system the world has ever known.

As a matter of fact, Obama's ultimate goal is to force all Americans into a single-payer government-run health care system... a huge bureaucracy that will decide which doctor you can see, when you can see him and which treatment that doctor is allowed to render onto you.

According to Congressman John Shadegg (R-AZ), a leader in the fight against Obama's government-run health care experiment:

"Passage of the Democrats' Affordable Health Choice Act of 2009 will guarantee one thing - choice in health care will cease to exist. Don't be fooled. If enacted, this legislation will restrict the health care options you have today. If there are any changes whatsoever made to your plan, the government will say no."

In other words, the bill effectively makes private health insurance illegal!

According to published reports, Barack Obama's legal team has been paid over one million dollars, so far, to STOP anyone from seeing ANY of his actual identification documents, or many other documents:
Actual long-form birth certificate (NOT an easily-forged electronic copy of a short-form document that is not even officially accepted in Hawaii)
Passport files
University of Chicago Law School scholarly articles
Harvard Law Review articles
Harvard Law School records
Columbia University records
Columbia University senior thesis, "Soviet Nuclear Disarmament"
Occidental College records, including financial aid that he may have received
Punahou School records, where Mr. Obama attended from the fifth grade until he finished high school
Noelani Elementary School records, where Barack Obama attended kindergarten (according to the Hawaii Department of Education, students must submit a birth certificate to register -- but parents may bring a passport or student visa if the child is from a foreign country)
Complete files and schedules of his years as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004
Obama's client list from during his time in private practice with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill and Gallard
Illinois State Bar Association records
Baptism records
Obama/Dunham marriage license
Obama/Dunham divorce documents
Soetoro/Dunham marriage license
Soetero/Dunham Adoption records
By the way, the issue of the Occidental College records is especially pertinent. The United States Justice Foundation (USJF) served officials at Occidental College with a subpoena to produce records concerning Barack Obama's attendance there during the 1980's, because those records could document whether he was attending as a foreign national. You see, Mr. Obama attended the school on a scholarship -- and there are questions as to whether the financial aid he received was reserved for foreign students. The Obama attorneys have bent over backward to block us. He doesn't want anyone to see those records. He's STILL trying to hide them; those financial records STILL have not been released.

WHAT is Barack Obama trying to hide? WHAT is he afraid of? WHY doesn't he just release these documents to prove that he is a natural-born citizen and, therefore, qualified to serve as President -- especially his actual birth certificate?

If the plan is so good, why don't members of Congress sign up for it, and if this plan is so wonderful as Obama insists, why doesn't he sign up his wife and children for it????

President Barack Obama’s health-care sales pitch depends on his ability to obfuscate who is likely to get hurt by reform. At Wednesday’s news conference, for example, he was asked “specifically what kind of pain and sacrifice” he would ask of patients in order to achieve the cost savings he promises.

He insisted he “won’t reduce Medicare benefits” but instead would “make delivery more efficient.” The most Mr. Obama would concede is that some people will have to “give up paying for things that don’t make you healthier.” That is simply not credible.

While Democrats on Capitol Hill dispute claims that individuals will lose their existing coverage under their reform plans, on other issues many Democrats privately acknowledge some people will indeed get whacked to pay for the new world of government-dominated health care.
