Why doesn't the Connecticut Legislature pass an act prohibiting the federal government from passing their socialized medicine on the citizens of Connecticut much like Texas and the other 6 states are barring them from interfering with state's rights under the 10th Amendment?

Maybe it is about time more people read the Constitution which states that any right not specifically delegated in the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the states, and "WE THE PEOPLE!"
