great song. IT should be a real hit.
Although I did enjoy the song (Ray Stevens is a great entertainer) the song isn't scripturally accurate.
Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But he (Jesus) perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? Not only that, but contrary to what many believe, the tithe that God commanded Isael to pay, when it was all added up, was actually 22.3333% of all they owned. Most gladly paid more lest they made a mistake when they computed what they owed.
