My what a tangled web these New Britain Democrats weave.

In his missive, originally sent to the Democratic Town Committee, O’Brien said he found the campaign tactics of his adversaries to be the politics of “hate, division and personal attacks.”

I WONDER WHAT O'BRIEN THINKS OF HIS OWN LEGISLATIVE AID ENGAGING IN THESE ACTIVITIES, WHILE USING A STATE COMPUTER IN VIOLATION OF STATE REGULATIONS, OH LET'S SEE:

This is what O'Brien told the Herald: Asked if after his suspension he would like to have Gerratana back as his aid given the attacks on a political opponent, O’Brien said it would not be a problem.

SOUNDS LIKE AN ATTABOY FOR A JOB WELL DONE, IF YOU ASK ME.

Quoted in the Hartford Courant 9/11:
Stewart is a Republican running for re-election. Both Stewart and his Democratic opponent, state Rep. Tim O'Brien, say they hope personal attacks stop.
.................................
It would appear that only one of these two really meant it, since the guy responsible for the attacks works for O'Brien!

Won't this be even harder to explain to the voters than living in a Berlin pool house while you are a New Britain Alderman?

I would love to see how much he has ever paid in taxes in New Britain?

The efforts The Herald has put into this story has changed my opinion of their paper.

Is this the type of person we want for Tax Collector ? I doubt it. At 23 years old he still appears to be immature. He needs to go out and get a real job and learn work skills and not ride on the coat tails of his family name.

As for now that he admitted his guilt, he should resign from the common council and as a aide to O'Brien.

Hang your head in shame and LEAVE>

Naybe Mr Ethics??? Ald Sherwood would as the council to censure Mr Gerrantina. Dont you think that would be the prooer thing to do? hAHA

You don't consider working as an aide to O'Brien at taxpayer expense to be a real job? How many of these aldermen work in a real job that is neither a government job, nor somehow working for some social organization that is funded by the taxpayers?

The only one I can think of is a Republican who owns his own business.
