Tell that to Barbara Wagner, the 64 year old Oregon woman who was refused cancer medications under the Oregon Universal Health Care plan. Instead, the State of Oregon offered to pay for killing her--because it was cheaper than saving her.
Ms. Wagner has since died--no thanks to the universal health care system that decided she was too old to save and it was cheaper to kill her.
Let this be a wake up call to any seniors who believe the Democrat's promise for total utopia under their proposed government take-over of your health care.

May Barbara Wagner rest in peace.
Maybe her dying will mean that others won't have to at the hands of vicious government bureaucrats, rationing health care on a cost benefit basis.
Seniors better wake up before it is too late!
Her doctor offered hope in the new chemotherapy drug Tarceva, but the Oregon Health Plan sent her a letter telling her the cancer treatment was not approved.
Instead, the letter said, the plan would pay for comfort care, including "physician aid in dying," better known as assisted suicide.
"I told them, I said, 'Who do you guys think you are?' You know, to say that you'll pay for my dying, but you won't pay to help me possibly live longer?' " Wagner said.
"People deserve relief of their suffering, not giving them an overdose," said Dr. William Toffler.
He said the state has a financial incentive to offer death instead of life: Chemotherapy drugs such as Tarceva cost $4,000 a month while drugs for assisted suicide cost less than $100.
Will Dr. Kevorkian be appointed Surgeon General in charge of assisting deaths of Seniors? At what age is assisted death recommended..65, 80, 100? Look at all the seniors in their 70's and 80's who are active in politics and community affairs. With these guidelines, John McCain might not have been alive to run in the last presidential election, Ted Kennedy might have been given the death penalty the moment his brain cancer was diagnosed...Are the brown uniforms with the swastika armbands ready yet?
Knowing Obama's record for appointing Russian style Czars, Dr. Kevorkian will most likely be the Health Choices Commissioner--the guy who decides what health care you can and can not have!

Only commies want granma killed by government officials. Salt of the earth booboosies want them folks killed by their Capitalist overlords. Despite the whacked out lies from the Democrats, currently in this country NO ONE can be denied emergency treatment. Even illegal aliens simply need to show up at an emergency room and they will receive their needed treatment whether or not they can pay.
We currently enjoy the best health care system in the world, one that is the envy of most other nations. If that were not true, then why do so many Canadians and Brits come here desperate for treatment after their own governments have abandoned them to die like yesterday's garbage?
Why is the Canadian government in an agreement to ship thousands of Canadians to American hospitals because their socialist system is "in a meltdown" in the words of their own health minister?
The Democrats want to take the best health care system in the world and transform it into something that you would expect to find in a third world country with millions of people dying on waiting lists for government rationed health care--all at the hands of an Obama Health rationing Czar.
Too bad for your Messiah that in the latest poll even 78% of Democrats are against his plans to seize control of our health care.

The same poll shows only 19% of Americans identify themselves as liberals, so clearly these left wing loons are in the minority.
That is the best news we could have considering the prediction that we will have a Republican Super majority sweep Congress in 2010 that will make the clean sweep against Clinton's socialist agenda look like nothing in comparison to the Republican wave that is coming next year to resist Obama's Marxist plans.
What will these left wing loons do when the Republican majority starts appointing their own Czars?

IF BARBARA WAGNER WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE PRIVATE INSURANCE WITH AETNA, OXFORD, KAISER, OR UNITED HEALTH CARE SHE WOULD BE ALIVE TODAY. INSTEAD SHE HAD SOCIALIZED GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE AND DIED AT THE HANDS OF GOVERNMENT AGENTS REFUSING TO TREAT HER BECAUSE SHE IS TOO OLD FOR THEIR BOTTOM LINE ON THEIR GOVERNMENT BUDGET.
