I'm sure it is very comforting for people who donated the few dollars they could afford to the O'Brien campaign to find out they used it to pay a radical front group for ACORN.

Even more troubling must be to learn that the so-called "volunteers" working on O'Brien's campaign are not actually volunteers, but being paid for their services by ACORN'S CSI.

How very ironic that the very day this story appears, several people spotted 3 sleazy looking characters holding O'Brien signs outside the facility where the TRIAD Senior Expo was held. One actually stopped and asked them if they lived in NB. Guess what folks-they are from New York and were recruited by ACORN to "campaign" for their candidate. They probably each got $20 and a cup of coffee; they certainly didn't do it because they believe in the guy whose name was on the sign or the people who live, work, and/or pay taxes in our fair city!

That is sooo sleazy! O'Brien's campaign manager couldn't get a local volunteer to hold signs at the Senior Expo? Maybe locals know the seniors want Stewart to be mayor???

Some New Britain residents have reported that "paid volunteers" (an oxymoron) trespass on front yards (private property) and trample the lawn when trying to hand out flyers. When confronted by the property owner, the "volunteers", from as far away as New York are insolent. Sounds like ACORN/WFP/Union people to me.
