The Herald that identified a candidate for alderman as having a medical condition that impaired his judgment as reported by James Craven " council candidates arrest forces him to acknowledge illness" Oct. 29th. edition of the paper.
Does The Herald know anything about the current state HIPPA Regulations that may have been violated by all who revealed the information to the Herald?
The Herald knew from whom the letter came from yet the Herald editors chose only to keep the Alderman's name out of this story, who made the information available.
Why hasn’t The Herald reported on Trueworthy’s problems with the West Hartford police?
Favoritism; I suppose.

I don't understand what is going on at the police department, that such sensitive information is allowed to circulate freely?
I do not intend to vote for Michael Trueworthy because of idealogical differences. However, I am not comfortable at the releasing of his health problems, whatever they are and auto difficulties which may be related to his physical problems. Shame on us.

HIS MEDICAL PROBLEMS CAUSED HIM TO DRIVE AROUND WITH AN UNREGISTERED CAR--INTERESTING?
Must be some sort of blindness--couldn't see registering it!
Diabetes is a common ailment, brought under control by medications. Neglecting to take the medications can cause behavioral problems. Since the candidate discloses he intends to continue taking the meds, the issue should be tossed aside.
If another Alderman candidate released the information, he/she should identify himself/herself. He/she had no business disclosing the information.
Is Alderman Salvio on any kind of medications? His face gets very red?

If you have the guts, why don't you ask him? Otherwise, dry up!
Just wondering...could Michael Trueworthy have leaked the info about the other candidate's medical problems to deflect attention from his own obvious behavioral problems, which some have wondered are being caused by medications or lack thereof??
As of today, the Herald refuses to treat Trueworthy the same way it treated Marco Villa, i.e., ignore his troubles with the West Hartfor Police. You mean there is only a headline story when it involves a member of the Stewart Team?
Considering the very first comment made to this post; how bad do you think it will be if Marie Lausch gets elected to the Council? She is a dispatcher for the public safety departments! Bad move!
