THE FACTS ALL WRONG
FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
In today's Hartford Courant of the New Britain Section an article entitled "FOR BOTH PARTIES, THE ISSUE IS CONTROL".
This report was written by the Courant reporter Don Stacom.
He missed the real story behind the Stewart Ticket with it being a multiparty ticket. He reported in his report that all the candidates were republican on this republican ticket when in fact two are democrats and three are Independents.
The courant had reporters that got the facts right, IN THE PAST, but this sloppy research appears to be the usual at the Courant.

Either on purpose or because of incompetence, Don Stacom proves why the Courant has lost readership. I am seriously considering dropping my subscription. This man is a loser.
At least the Courant was willing to publish negative information about a Democrat-unlike someone else here in town.
Here's the question this reporter SHOULD have asked: O'Brien claims that as mayor, he will be spending a lot of time at the State Capitol to bring relief to NB. If that's the case, who'll be minding City Hall in his absence? Perhaps the ACORN employees he's paying to campaign for him?
I've sent in a request for a correction. Hopefully the Courant will do the right thing.
I urge others to do the same thing.
one question? how did this colonial guy get in there in the first place that he needs to get appointed again?
