No kidding. I called that one.

These guys are great for spending and have NO clue on saving.

State "balanced" its budget with ELIMINATING the rainy day fund ($1.5B), used ONE-TIME federal stimulus money ($1.0B), used ONE-TIME union concessions ($.8B), borrowed ($1.0B) and sold some excess state property. Folks these are ALL revenues. There were NO cuts. In fact the state budget GREW!!!!

Now they propose cutting (saving) money by screwing New Britain thus having US raise property taxes.
We are screwed.
