Can we delay it about 100 years???

That would make the majority of Americans very happy!

Just 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s the lowest level of support measured for the plan in nearly two dozen tracking polls conducted since June.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% now oppose the plan.

A VERY GOOD POINT:

(comment from "Citizen" posted tonight on the New Britain Herald web site:)

Citizen wrote on Nov 29, 2009 10:44 PM:
" Wow. Sherwood is at it again. The double-speak is simply incredible! So the city cannot do business with companies because people involved with them went to prison (even though those individuals are no longer associated with the businesses), but Candelori is innocent until proven guilty. Meanwhile, Sherwood takes a criminal's word that the Mayor is steering contracts, while not assuming the Mayor is innocent until proven guilty (since he never said the Mayor was "allegedly" lobbying for Maguire, he just said that he was).

I cannot wait until the Mayor is vindicated from this latest attack. The Mayor would be justified in considering bringing a lawsuit against Candelori and Sherwood for defamation of character as well. I don't know how Sherwood looks himself in the mirror every morning. Such a shame that the people of NB elected someone who says one thing (that he would be open, honest, and willing to work in a bipartisan manner) and do another (be sneaky, close-minded, and partisan to the core, telling all Dems on the Council to vote the party line at the very first meeting). As I watch President Obama and Congress, I think of my favorite singer, George Strait and his song, "Just Give It Away."

But who will be paying this huge debt? My grandchildren, my great-grandchildren and so on, and so on.

Bad days ahead for Dems!

Two in five Democratic voters either consider themselves unlikely to vote at this point in time, or have already made the firm decision to remove themselves from the 2010 electorate pool. Indeed, Democrats were three times more likely to say that they will "definitely not vote" in 2010 than are Republicans.
