THE RECOUNT OF THE AT LARGE CANDIDATES FOR THE NEW BRITAIN COUNCIL IS IN PROCESS TODAY!
The process will take at least a major portion of the day to complete with each ballot re-processed into a three machines.
Each ballot will then be examed for irregularities in the actual markings made by the voters onto their ballots and their intent shall be then determined by the examiners.

Thank you to the two Registrars and ALL of the workers at the recount. It was a long and tedious day and the process was completed flawlessly. I for one long for the day when someone in this country will invent a NEW mechanically operated voting machine that doesn't involve penciling or penning in a bubble on a ballot sheet. There are too many reasons why bubbling in a bubble can be problematic as compared to pulling down a small lever.
