I was in the store last week to buy a plumbing part that I needed for my home--yes I am one of the few taxpayers in New Britain who actually owns his own home, and the cheapest one said on the label it was "union made" in Wilmington Delaware, so I bought the other brand next to it that was slightly more expensive because I knew part of my purchase wouldn't be benefiting a socialist labor union.
It proudly declared "MADE IN CHINA." That's what I think of Murphy's buy American campaign. Just another hidden agenda to help support his labor union cronies similar to Chris Dodd and his firefighter buddies at the expense of aviation security.

I too intentionally avoid doing business with any business who has union employees. I would gladly pay more if I needed to, except that most non-union companies are usually offering better goods for less money and much better customer service. I usually find that the workers are more conscientious about helping customers because they don't have union rules protecting them for not performing their job. The attitude with most unionized companies I ever did business with was usually "it's not my job" or "the union says I don't have to help you" so why do you want to bring your business to a place where the workers couldn't give a damn?

Isn't that the secret of success for companies like Wal-Mart, Starbucks and Whole Foods--no unions to destroy their businesses??????

Good point. But I want to also mention all those Toyota Prius's that state workers so proudly drive!!!

What Union made those? :-)

But seriously. Let’s take a look at this more closely. Is election time coming again? Could this be the first salvo from the Democrats? Considering that like most democrats Mr. Murphy's constituents are mostly union workers who are misled by their leaders into believing that pro-democrat/unions actually keep jobs in America than it stands to reason that he and his democrat peers would use this tact in the next election.

Forget for a minute that the automobile and manufacturing industries collapsed after 40 years of pro-democrat/union leadership and this might not seem so funny. But unfortunately they will again use this un-holy partnership to rally votes.

I can see it now.

Chris Murphy, Chris Dodd, Tim O'Brien and company.

Pro union, pro entitlements, pro universal health care.
If you can't or won't do it for yourself, NO WORRY'S The Unioncrats are here to save the day!!!
