What wealthy? The Day reported earlier this year that CT lost over 10,000 millionaires THIS PAST YEAR. The D's have finally killed the golden goose.

I'm glad she vetoed the spending bills but come on people enough is enough! How about some meaningful dialogue on how and where to cut spending. Forget about increasing taxes to plug the gaps stop the runaway spending practices and sacred cows of the democratic legislature from killing this state.

I understand Connecticut, along with most other Northeastern states are expected to lose seats in Congress as a result of the census, and Southern Republican states will be gaining those seats because of the masses that are fleeing Democratic rule for states run by Republicans.

Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont were all identified as potentially losing seats while the most Republican states, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina were all identified as potentially gaining Congressional seats as anyone who can afford to leave the socialist Democratic party's stronghold on these wacky states moves to more sensible Republican, conservative territories.

All the Democrats seem to know how to do is seize our money and spread it around through ever increasing socialist programs, and they wonder why people who can afford to, are moving out of state to states run by Republicans?

In the end there will be no one left to pay the bills, just a bunch of bleeding hearts trying to live off the state, with no one paying the bills to support their failure of a socialist experiment.

At least we still have Governor Rell to resist O'Brien and his cronies with their tax and spend mentality.

It is really too bad that Rell screwed up by agreeing to no state employee layoffs. Any business would have to lay off as many workers as it takes to balance their budget, but the state can just raise more and more taxes and then just keep finding more ways to give our hard earned tax dollars away on more socialist programs.
