I heard from more than one democrat insider who said they believe our very own liberal loon Phil Sherwood will be managing Blumenthal campaign for Senate and that he us leaving his communist job at ccac.
Does anyone else see a patter forming here? The majority of workers at Pratt & Whitney have long been represented by the International Association of Machinists (IAM). When the company wants to move out of state and eliminate 1,100 of the union's overpaid, under worked positions, Blumenthal seeks an order holding the company hostage in Connecticut--attempting to force them to state in Connecticut against their will.
Now AT&T is planning to lay off 160 members of the Communications Workers union, and Blumenthal is making claims that loss of these jobs would threaten public safety.
Both if these unions are major players in the Working Families front group for ACORN.
It seems clear to me that Mr. Blumethal is setting himself up as the major defender of the Working Families radical group.
Just what we need in Washington, another radical extremist politician.
Blumenthal is a Dodd clone. He is a bright, political entity. He won't pick a jerk like Sherwood to run his campaign. He is well educated and situated and married his money.
I will not vote for him because he will be another Dodd, only hopefully with more integrity. He was an embarrassment just now on Neil Cavuto's show, not answering Neil's questions on Health Care or abortions.
I wouldn't be surprised if he picked a bozo like Sherwood to run his campaign.
Afterall, Blumenthal joined the radical extremist in prostesting the lack of Hispanic managers at Walmart, an event that led to running Walmart into closing up and leaving town.
If you are upset with Walmart leaving, you can thank Blumenthal and his buddy Sherwood for it.

Blumenthal has more sense than to choose Sherwood for his campaign manager...he would chose a long time Democrat for the position, not someone wet behind the ears. I agree that the radical Working Families contributed to Walmart closing it's store in New Britain...idiots!
Quick response and swift poll reports indicate that Mr. Blumenthal is a tough candidate to beat and popular with voters.
Maybe this comes from Blumenthal's zealous approach to protecting jobs, being a consumer watchdog and consistently putting businesses on notice that he is "watching you". We can't take away from Mr. Blumenthal the fact that he is a career polition.
What Richard Blumenthal is lacking is the ability to truly understand what it takes to run a profitable business in CT and he has taken many good and decent business owners to their knees with his tactics. He is not business friendly and it shows in this state. CT is not a desirable place for new business starts to the contrary. Richard Blumenthal is possibly the absolute worst person to represent residents of CT in Washington. He leaves little promise of making new jobs attractive and will spread the continuation of goverment dependence here which equals higher taxes.
The one thing this state needs is someone who is innovative. Richard Blumenthal is not innovative. All he knows how to do is to collect his taxpayer supplied paycheck and how to give taxpayer supplied paychecks to others. Maybe thats why he is too scared to give up his AG position to run for the senate office. I hope we are going to get a full 40 hours out of him each week in his current position while he runs for office. We are watching you.

I doubt that even Blumenthal would choose Phil the hater to run his campaign.
This make sense, since Blumethal has set himself up as the great defending of ACORN and it's communist supporters.
