Nicastro is full of beans. How can he even say that the rail line will be more cost effective when there is not even a preliminary set of plans for the rail line.

And NB's State Legislators listen to this guy; what a bunch of morons!

Talk about double talk and miss-information!!

“I have to be convinced,”“It would be more cost-effective to replace the rail line for 70 miles than for nine miles of busway,”
The state has been working on the busway between New Britain and Hartford for 12 years...
“There’s analysis any potential alternative would have to go through,” and “the appropriate level of analysis” hasn’t yet been done to determine the best alternative....Our position is they’re not mutually exclusive,”...a “feeder system” that would include Bristol and other towns – combined with some rail...it doesn’t matter to him which mode of transportation it is

Geeze what’s going on with the brothers Grimm (Nicastros)?

Seems like a whole lot of muddying the water for your own gain to me.

Also someone needs to point out to Mr. Ward that folks already take Buses from Bristol through Plainville into New Britain where they change buses and then drive on that bus through Newington and West Hartford then finally into Hartford.

So much for regionalism looks like the Nicastro brothers are in it for themselves!
