NEW BRITAIN — As the first decade of the new century comes to a close the City of New Britain finds itself at a crossroad that may lead it either to further urban degeneration or a second birth as a prosperous central-state suburpolis by 2035.

Mayor Timothy Stewart says it will be the latter.

WHAT NO ONE SEEMS TO BE FIGURING INTO THIS EQUATION IS THAT A LOT OF THE SUCCESS OR FAILURE OF THIS AN ANY OTHER AMERICAN CITY HINGES ON WHETHER THAT COMMUNIST DICTATOR IN WASHINGTON GET HIS WAY ON HIS PLANS TO DESTROY AMERICA AS WE ONCE KNEW IT.

IF HE IS SUCCESSFUL IN HIS TRANSFORMATION OF AMERICA INTO TOTAL COMMUNISM, CITIES LIKE NEW BRITAIN WILL BE DEVASTATED.

This is an awesome idea!!!

This brings the community together for some good old fashion fun. Memories that both old and young will cherish forever.

I applaud the City for these types of efforts and would encourage the City to do more events like this.

Here's hoping skaters will use the downtown skating rink often, weather permitting..a novel idea...New Britain's version of Rockefeller Center!
