Why weren’t the streets cleaned and sanded properly? Every snow storm is the same story…when will Public Works get it right? Why wait till someone gets seriously injured before you get it right?

To the previous comment, as to when will public works get it right, Have a little common sense. When you have icy conditions occur within a 15 minute time period, How the hell can you have the entire city plowed and salted in that time period? You must be a democrat!

It has been more than 12 hours since the storm has ended and the state DOT still has not sanded or salted route 2. There are accidents all over the place, tractor trailers are stuck on inclines and not an orange truck to be seen. Sounds like New Britain has done a fabulous job compared to the State of Connecticut.

I guess the Democrats gave all the state's money away in social programs, so there isn't any left to pay for plowing the highways.

I live in New Britain and my street still hasn't been cleared or sanded...it's a sheet of ice!

I pay my taxes and no I am not a democrat.
